The BEST is HERE…

Rendering of Campus Expansion

KU Edwards Campus is expanding its footprint with the construction of a new Business, Engineering, Science and Technology (BEST) Building. The 75,000-square-foot, $23 million BEST Building will bring large growth to campus and many new opportunities to the community.

"The size, scope and flexible design of the building – and the University's commitment to offering high-value degree programs here – ensure the Edwards Campus will become an even more valued contributor to the economic growth and development of Johnson County," said Bob Clark, vice chancellor.

The building will consist of classrooms, a business conference center, computer labs and staff/faculty offices, and will enable Edwards Campus enrollment to increase by 1,000 students. Through this expansion, the Edwards Campus will strengthen its impact on the community with10 new degree programs in the BEST arena. The first program, Bachelor of Business Administration, began in spring 2010.
