Practicing Educator Sponsorship Program >>
In an ever-changing world, educators must stay current with effective teaching practices to ensure their students receive the best education possible. In an effort to help reduce your cost for graduate education, the KU School of Education has initiated a sponsorship program for any Kansas PK-12 educator in a public or private building/district.

MetroKC Tuition Rates
The KU Edwards Campus MetroKC tuition rate offers rates equivalent to in-state rates for Missouri residents who qualify and reside in the Bates, Buchanan, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Henry, Jackson, Johnson, Lafayette, Platte or Ray counties.  No credit hour limit applies. To receive this special rate, please fill out the MetroKC application.

Scholarships at the KU School of Education >>
As a student enrolled at the KU School of Education, you are eligible to apply and be awarded on a competitive basis. All types of students are eligible, including master’s level graduate students.

Graduate Student Loans >>
Financial aid is funding provided by various agencies to help students meet the costs of attending graduate school.  Student loans are considered financial aid because of the special interest rates, with some being subsidized by the federal government.  Repayment of most student loans does not begin until after graduation.

Grants at KU >>
Grants and scholarships are often called “gift aid” because they monies that do not have to be repaid. Grants are often need-based, and can come from the federal government, the state of Kansas, the university and other organizations.

Graduate Assistantships at KU >>
Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA) and Graduate Research Assistants (GRA) serve to fill a vital role in KU’s graduate research agenda. As a GTA or GRA, you are eligible for benefits, including tuition and health insurance benefits.
