Fire Procedures
Please familiarize yourself with both main and secondary exits from your classroom. Posted in each classroom is an evacuation plan. If you hear the Edwards Campus fire alarm go off (a loud constant tone), please proceed with your class to the nearest exit. Do not use the elevators. Please help those individuals who may need assistance in exiting the building.
When you are safely outside, walk to the far side of the nearest parking lot and wait for campus administration to provide you with further directions.
In the event of a power failure, the building is equipped with emergency lights and fire doors, which are activated by the alarms.

Tornado Procedures
In the event there is a tornado warning and area sirens go off, please proceed with your class to the lower level of the building staying in the interior hallways. Do not go into rooms RC 7 or RC 21 and avoid exterior doors. Do not use the elevators. Posted in each classroom is an evacuation plan. Please help those individuals who may need assistance in proceeding to the lower level of the building. Campus administration will provide you with further directions.
Bomb Threat
In the event of a bomb threat, University and police officials will be notified and a search of the building initiated. If warranted, the building will be evacuated by activating the fire alarm system. Evacuate building using fire procedures.
