The School of Public Affairs and Administration also offers a minor. All coursework related to the minor is offered at the KU Edwards Campus although some PUAD course are also offered in Lawrence. The minor requires 18 hours of PUAD coursework. Six of these credits will consist of required core coursework (PUAD 330 and 333), and the additional 12 hours will consist of elective PUAD courses.

Minor Hours & Minor GPA
While completing all required courses, students obtaining a minor in public administration must also meet each of the following hour and GPA minimum standards:
- Minor Hours
Satisfied by 18 hours of minor courses. - Minor Hours in Residence
Satisfied by a minimum of 9 hours of KU resident credit in the minor. - Minor Junior/Senior Hours
Satisfied by a minimum of 18 hours from junior/senior courses (300-level and above) in the minor. - Minor Junior/Senior Graduation GPA
