1) What do our tuition and fees pay for at the the KU Edwards Campus?

Standard Tuition
This term means resident tuition is assessed for those eligible for resident tuition; non-resident tuition is assessed for those not eligible for resident tuition. The Board of Regents approves tuition amounts. Some of our Missouri students may qualify for the MetroKC tuition grant.

Differential Tuition/Course Fees
Additional tuition charged by the school or campus delivering the course.

Construction Fee
Fee charged at the KU Edwards Campus to help pay off the bond that funded the construction of the Regents Center and Regnier Hall buildings.

Graduate or Undergraduate Fee
More than 60 percent of the Edwards Campus operating budget is generated from the undergraduate and graduate fee. These fees at the Edwards Campus are comparable to the required fees on the Lawrence campus. This fee flattens out at 12 credit hours or more.

Student Union Fee
This fee funds the operating expenses and purchase of this building.

Mediated Course Fee
This fee is charged for online courses.
