Undergraduate students are admitted for fall, spring or summer semesters, so you can begin your studies at a convenient time for you. For the undergraduate degree completion programs at the Edwards Campus most students should have already completed the majority of their general education requirements and prerequisites.
The upper-level courses for these programs are offered at the Edwards Campus. Most students should have already completed the majority of their general education requirements and prerequisites.
To enter the programs, transfer students need to meet the following admission requirement:
Kansas Residents
- Have official transcripts mailed from each college or university you have attended by the appropriate deadline and
- Have at least 24 credit hours at the time of application with a 2.0 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale from a community college or another regionally accredited college or university.
Out of State Residents
- Have official transcripts mailed from each college or university you have attended by the appropriate deadline and
- Have at least 24 credit hours at the time of application with a 2.5 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale from a community college or another regionally accredited college or university.

Transfer students
The Undergraduate Application for Transfer Admission and Scholarships is available online. To fill out an application online or download a copy from the Web site visit,

. Both the application and application fee can be submitted online. KU uses a secured server for online submission of application fees. Application fees can be paid by using a credit card or electronic check.
Application forms are also available at the KU Edwards Campus reception desks. Complete and return the application with $30 application fee to the University of Kansas, Office of Admissions & Scholarships, KU Visitor Center, 1502 Iowa, Lawrence, KS 66045-7576.
Application deadlines:
May 1 - summer and fall semesters
December 1 - spring semester
If you want to be considered for KU transfer scholarships, you should apply by March 1 for the following academic year (fall, spring and summer semesters).
International undergraduate students
Complete and return the International Undergraduate Application form with the $75 application fee to the University of Kansas, Office of International Undergraduate Admissions, 1450 Jayhawk Boulevard, Room 17, Lawrence, KS 66045-7535. The application form and fee paid by credit card may be submitted online through the Office of International Student and Scholar Services Web site:

Visiting Undergraduate Students & Non-degree Seeking Students
Apply for admission to the KU Office of Admissions and Scholarships, (913) 897-5652, ext. 3911, by completing a non-degree seeking application with a $30 application fee. The application can be completed online at

Only an application and application fee are required. The application deadline is at least two weeks before the start of the semester.
Former KU undergraduate students
Former KU undergraduate students must apply for readmission to KU at least two weeks before the start of the semester. Students can complete the readmission application online at

or pick up a printed application at the KU Edwards Campus.
