The certificate in systems analysis and design will prepare students for success in the rapidly evolving field of information technology.

The Curriculum
The 15-credit hour curriculum for the certificate in systems analysis and design consists of five courses to be taken in the following sequence. Each course offers three undergraduate credits. Click on the course for a description.

Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Systems Architecture

To enter the program students must have:
  • A minimum of an associate degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • At least two years fulltime work experience
  • One year of a programming language

Admissions
Students are admitted into the program in the fall and spring semesters. Students who start in the fall take one course per semester for five semesters including summer. Students who start in the spring need to take two courses in the first semester and then one course per semester for the remaining three semesters including summer.
