Financial Aid & Scholarships


Upon admission to the university, KU Edwards Campus students may be eligible for three types of financial aid: scholarshipsgrants, and loans.

To be eligible for many of these funds, students will need to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The federal school code for the University of Kansas is 001948.

Financial aid may be available for certain certificate programs.

Non-FAFSA eligible individuals such as international students, students progressing toward U.S. permanent residency, undocumented, and/or DACA students are eligible to apply by submitting the Institutional Student Need Analysis Worksheet instead of the FAFSA. (Must be admitted student.)

FAS Transfer and Edwards Campus Scholarships for spring starters: Submit your completed application for admission and FAFSA by December 1. FAS Transfer scholarship applicants do not need to apply for FAFSA. If you are a spring starter, recipients will receive half of the scholarship total for the spring semester.

Miller Scholarship

Goodyear Grant

One-time award limited to new, incoming students, one student awarded per year. FAFSA submission is required.

Belz Norbert Scholarship

One-time award limited to new, incoming students in applied biological sciences, biotechnology, health sciences, or exercise science programs- one student per year. FAFSA submission required.

Diversity Support Scholarship

Preference is given to recipients of scholarships supported by the Sunderland Fund at Johnson County Community College.

 

Secondary preference is given to first-generation students from underrepresented populations. Ten students per year are selected for this scholarship. FAFSA submission is required.

Submit a complete application for admission by May 1 and submit FAFSA by June 1.

State of Kansas Teacher Service ScholarshipService obligation scholarship program available to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing bachelor's degree programs or master's degrees in hard-to-fill disciplines or planning to teach in an underserved geographic area. VariesThe deadline to apply each year is May 1. 
School of Professional Studies Dean's ScholarshipOne-time award is given with preference to first-generation students from underrepresented populations and/ or admitted to programs in the School of Professional Studies. Awarded to students identified by eligibility criteria FAFSA submission required.
