Putting your Educational Administration Degree To Work

Students who graduate from KU’s Master’s Degree in Educational Administration will have achieved both a master’s degree in educational leadership and also have satisfied the requirements for building-level administrative licensure. It’s a two-for-one graduate program for aspiring educational leaders.

Recent graduates have been selected to participate in district leadership academies; they have presented at national conferences on leadership; and have been selected for educational leadership positions in other countries.

Graduate students who aspire to pursue careers in educational leadership or school administration with their Masters degree in educational administration are likely to accept positions with titles similar to the following:

  • Principal
  • Associate Principal
  • Assistant Principal
  • Athletic/Activities Director

It’s not just for principals. Become a better prepared educator.

If building-level administration is not the right path for you, we hope you understand that this master’s degree can still benefit your career as an educator. Graduate students who aspire to become a better leader within their building benefit from the theory, research, and applicable knowledge gained with this master’s degree:

  • Teacher Leader
  • Instructional Coach
  • Discipline Department Chair

Begin the application process today and take that next step in your career as an educator.
