University of Kansas launches Digital Marketing Boot Camp
The field of marketing is evolving, and the rise of the digital economy is transforming how customers interact with businesses. Today’s businesses are increasingly leveraging technology, with digital marketing spend expected to reach $146 billion by 2023.
To meet the growing need for skilled digital marketing professionals in the Kansas region, KU Boot Camps recently launched the University of Kansas Digital Marketing Boot Camp. The program joins the growing roster of part-time boot camp programs offered by the university in web development, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
Through part-time, hands-on classes, existing and aspiring marketers can master the digital skill set needed to meet current demands in an interactive classroom environment. Convenient, live evening and weekend sessions allow students to maintain their work schedule or balance other commitments. They will benefit from an online classroom learning environment, with dedicated instructional staff, peer-to-peer insights and access to one-on-one support.
The rise of the digital world is transforming the way people research, interact with, and make decisions about products and businesses. Digital marketers are at the intersection of this shift, with jobs in marketing projected to grow 8 percent from 2018 to 2028, faster than the average for all occupations according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. KU Digital Marketing Boot Camp will prepare students to keep pace with this rapid demand. Over the course of 18 weeks, students learn from a market-driven curriculum including marketing strategy, campaign development, digital advertising, and modern tools in site analytics and reporting.
