Doctorate degree program available in Overland Park and Lawrence

The doctorate degree in Educational Administration is available for working professionals at the KU Edwards Campus in Overland Park, Kansas. Courses at the KU Edwards Campus take place in Regnier Hall and Regents Center, as well as the new Business, Engineering, Science & Technology (BEST) Building. Opened in 2012, the 75,000 square-foot LEED-compliant building offers high-energy efficiency, instructional ergonomics, and access to various forms of information technology.

However, if it’s more convenient for your busy schedule, this doctoral program in educational administration can also be completed at the University of Kansas main campus in Lawrence, Kan. The University of Kansas enrolls students from every state in the nation and more than 110 countries. Considered to be one of the most beautiful in the nation, the Lawrence campus occupies 1,000 acres on and around historic Mount Oread in Lawrence, a community of more than 80,000 in the forested hills of eastern Kansas.

The KU School of Education’s main home is located in Joseph R. Pearson (JRP) Hall, a student-centered instructional facility. The majority of the graduate courses that you will complete in Lawrence take place in a newly-remodeled building with student access to computers, tablets, touch-screen devices, high-speed internet, and other various media technologies.

Students may start the superintendent preparation program at the Edwards Campus in Overland Park in odd numbered years (e.g. 2017, 2019) or at the Lawrence Campus in even numbered years (e.g. 2016, 2018) and will complete all core coursework at the same campus.
