Personal Statement

Dr. Mayo earned his PhD in Applied Statistics from the Department of Management Science and Applied Statistics at the University of Alabama in 1995.  In 2004 he earned his MBA from Baker University.  Dr. Mayo has nearly a decade of experience teaching undergraduate business statistics and has over 15 years of experience in teaching statistics to quantitative and non-quantitative graduate students.

My statistical methodological research interests have included robust regression, linear models, experimental design and clinical trial design.
