Curriculum

The MSEE in Radio Frequency Systems Engineering degree program offers regular Electrical Engineering & Computer Science graduate courses offered during the day, delivered directly to Garmin employees in real-time using teleconferencing equipment available in Learned Hall (room 3150) at the KU Lawrence Campus and at Garmin.

Students can pursue two degree options (a thesis and a non-thesis, project option). The non-thesis track is a minimum of 27 hours of coursework, for a total of nine courses, and three hours of project focus. The traditional thesis track requires 24 hours of coursework, for a total of eight courses, and six hours of thesis focus.

To satisfy University requirements, all graduate students must take one hour of EECS 802: Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Colloquium and Seminar on Professional Issues. Garmin students may take this on the Edwards campus.
