Ed.D. Overview
The doctorate in curriculum and instruction prepares educators for leadership positions in a variety of settings like school districts, colleges and universities, state and federal education agencies, and educational companies. During the program students will learn how to translate theory and research into practice.
To earn a doctorate in curriculum and instruction students must complete at least 32 credit hours in curriculum and instruction coursework, 10 hours in basic and applied research skills and 12 hours of dissertation that involves original research in the student’s specialization.
This curriculum and instruction degree is accredited by the Kansas State Department of Education, and it can be completed entirely at the KU Edwards Campus.
