Biography

Ben Wolfe is a faculty member in the Environmental Studies program and also serves as an associate dean for the KU Edwards Campus. He has taught geoscience related courses for over 20 years and currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in environmental conservation, energy and air quality. He received his B.S. in geology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, M.S. in geology from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and Ph.D. from the University of Kansas. His research interests focus on geoscience education and field-based education. Prior, he worked professionally as a project geologist supporting environmental site assessments, site investigations, emergency responses, groundwater studies and soil studies for federal and state government agencies and private clients.
