Master of Public Health - Generalist

Admissions

Admission Requirements

The following materials are required to be considered for admissions:

  1. A completed online application form
  2. Official transcripts with bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  3. Three letters of recommendation
  4. Personal statement addressing interest in public health and career goals
  5. Resume/CV

Applicants must meet the general requirements for admission to the Office of Graduate Studies. The minimum requirements for admission into the graduate program are:

  1. Cumulative undergraduate GPA pf 3.0+ is required for regular admission status. An applicant with an undergraduate GPA below 3.0 may be admitted by petition, provided they meet academic standards without excessive deficiencies in prerequisites.
  2. C average (or higher) in College Algebra.
  3. International applicants must submit an evaluation of their undergraduate transcript including a course-by-course breakdown with a calculated GPA. 
  4. International applicants must submit a TOEFL or IELTS
  5. A minimum of one-year experience in a public health or healthcare setting is preferred.
