The current phase of the migration is focused on user mailboxes, shared mailboxes, and resource accounts. It will not include service accounts that are potentially leveraged by other services, such as Jayhawk GPS.If you would like help setting up email on your phone, or have any other questions, please reply to: kuec_support@ku.edu, or contact Edwards Campus IT staff using one of the following options:

On the afternoon of Wednesday, March 11th, a fire was reported in the Regnier Hall basement, and Regnier Hall has been closed until further notice.  Faculty and staff with offices in Regnier Hall will be assigned alternative office spaces in Regents Center or BEST.  All upcoming classes and events scheduled in Regnier Hall have been rescheduled into the BEST Building.

Please feel free to reach out to Ben Wolfe with questions, or if you need access in the interim.

On May 16th KU Edwards IT began technology updates in the following classrooms: RH 153, RH 165, BEST 130, and BEST 135. As part of the updates, to these rooms, the camera preview (the view showing where the camera is positioned) will be available by clicking a new shortcut on the computer desktop. Cameras will now be controlled at a touch panel in these classrooms. Document cameras and Echo 360 hardware will also be removed during this construction window, and will no longer be available in these spaces. We anticipate this will be completed by May 24, 2019.

Beginning May 28th, KU Edwards IT will be installing HD projectors and HD cameras in the remaining BEST classrooms. As a result, the camera preview will no longer be visible on the touch panels and will now be accessible using a new shortcut on the computer desktop. Cameras will continue to be controlled at the touch panel. We anticipate that all work will be completed by June 1, 2019.

By August 23rd, document cameras and remaining Echo 360 hardware will be removed as features from all BEST classrooms. Document cameras will continue to be available to instructors as a request-able resource on the AV Request form. Additionally, beginning Fall 2019, Echo Lecture Capture will no longer be offered on the Edwards Campus. Moving forward, Zoom will be the supported video conferencing and lecture recording solution replacing Echo Lecture Capture.

Please feel free to reach out to Steve Werninger with any questions related to setting up Zoom or its integration with Blackboard.
