A KU MBA

The MBA program is a 42 credit-hour program divided into foundation of business courses, pillars of business courses and elective courses. Areas of emphasis or elective coursework can be completed in a variety of areas such as Marketing, Finance or Management. Through the KU School of Business, the MBA program offers classes geared toward success in your career.

Your degree at your pace
With the KU Working Professional MBA, you don’t have to put your career on hold to complete your degree. The curriculum is flexible, so you can customize your MBA requirements by taking courses at a pace that works best for you. KU offers classes in the evenings twice weekly as well as online options, allowing you to balance work and family commitments while developing a versatile business acumen.

Program Profile

MBA for Working Professionals

Working Professional Participant Profile Professionals seeking to strengthen their skills and advance in their profession without a career interruption
Professional Experience Most students in the program have full-time jobs during the day
Class Schedule Classes are one or two nights a week from 6 – 8:40 p.m.
Program Length Students can complete the program in 2.5 years, August or January start time
Credit Hours 42 hours
Program Structure Classes are offered in 8-week module format. There are two modules in each 16-week semester.
Location KU Edwards Campus; Overland Park, Kansas program
Entry Point Fall or spring semester (August or January)
