Ed.D. Admission

Admission to KU

At the University of Kansas, doctoral students are admitted to Graduate Studies through the Graduate Division of one of the schools or colleges. Admission requirements vary from department to department and from school to school. Students will not receive graduate credit without having been accepted by a specific department or program.

Admission to the School of Education

The application process in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching is competitive. Review of all complete applications is conducted twice annually by an admissions committee; their review begins after each application deadline. If you have questions regarding your application, please contact the Department of Curriculum & Teaching.

Visit the Office of Graduate Studies for more information.

Please note: Meeting minimum admission standards does not guarantee admission to the program.
