Rising up at KUEC: In this Q&A series, outstanding 2023 KU students share how the KU Edwards Campus has helped them start, advance, or change their career. Meet Kaitlyn Sy.

KU Edwards Campus students presented their research projects for an audience of supporters, faculty, and industry professionals. 

Three molecular biosciences majors at the KU Edwards Campus have founded two student organizations to support other students in their pre-med experience, leading to their successful admissions to medical school at KU and Kansas City University.

The virtual "Tunnel of Oppression" event raises awareness about social oppression and encourages action on justice, equity, and inclusion issues.

The grant will be used to expedite degree completion and provide skilled employees for area companies that much sooner, while also improving the community's ability to identify and fight infectious diseases.

Jordan Atkinson has a long history with the ECA and his new role marks a four-year commitment that will involve various responsibilities. 

The Kansas Fire & Rescue Training Institute and Sherman County Rural Fire Department partner to offer annual fire school as a new Western Regional Training Coordinator joins KFRTI full-time

KFRTI's simulated grain bin and grain-engulfment rescue training helped prepare the Netawaka Rural Fire District for a swift rescue.

Mary E. Davidson, the former vice chancellor for academic affairs of the KU Regents Center (now the KU Edwards Campus), passed away on Dec. 6, 2021.
