Groups & Leadership Opportunities on Campus
As a student at KU Edwards, your leadership development is important to us. We believe in helping you grow as a leader in the areas of teamwork, innovation, and advocacy. With many unique clubs to choose from, there is sure to be an option to fit your personal and professional goals.
- BSIT JayHackers Club - The BSIT JayHackers is the Information Security Club that meets on the Edwards Campus. To join email Chris Seasholtz at chris@ku.edu for more info.
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Cabinet - Join KUEC faculty and staff to discuss and work on various projects on campus related to diversity and inclusion. Email vrodriguezmendez@ku.edu for more info.
- International Student Group - Interested in meeting other international students at KUEC? Join us to network and plan events for international students at KUEC. Email kuecservices@ku.edu for more info.
- KU Edwards Honors Program - Are you an undergraduate student looking to get more out of your educational experience and find a community of intellectually-driven peers? Designed for transfer students who may or may not have engaged with an honors program before, the KU Edwards Honors Program will challenge you academically, set you up for professional success, and recognize the great work you've already accomplished. Check out our home page and decide whether it is right for you!
- LGBTQ+ Group - Join us in trying to get this club off the ground! We would love to have you as a part of KUEC's first LGBTQ+ club on campus. Email arpope@ku.edu for more info. You can also join our channel in Microsoft Teams.

2023 - 2024 KU Common Book Information:
The Common Book for the 2023 school year is Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler. We will have copies on the KU Edwards Campus for students who wish to pick up a physical copy. You can also read the book online for free via the KU Libraries. KU Lawrence will have N.K. Jemisin is on campus to speak about the book on April 25th at 7:30 pm. Please refer to this page to learn more about the events we will host on the Edwards Campus.

- Description: The KU Common Book program is coordinated by the KU Libraries, the Hall Center for the Humanities, and the Division of Academic Success. The Common Book for the 2023-24 school year is Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler. Butler, who died in 2006, was influential to the career of N.K. Jemisin, a fellow science fiction writer, and Jemisin also wrote the forward to the most recent edition of Parable of the Sower.

- Description: Are you celebrating your graduation this semester? If so, don't worry about having to go to Lawrence to get your regalia! The KU Bookstore is coming to KU Edwards. During this day you can purchase regalia, invites, class rings, and even get your graduation photo taken.
