Mark your calendars: The ninth annual One Day One KU 24-hour giving campaign begins at noon on April 28, 2026.
“One Day One KU is a special day when we come together with our alumni and friends from across the globe to support this great university,” said Stuart Day, vice provost of the KU Edwards Campus and dean of the KU School of Professional Studies. “At the Edwards Campus, we are raising funds that directly support those in our community — students, faculty, and staff — in whatever needs arise.”
One Day One KU is a powerful example of the KU community’s might and spirit as we lift up one another. Every donation is a statement of Jayhawk pride and a testament that our endeavours truly make a difference. One day can change an entire life — and your donation can be the spark that makes it possible.
How your donations help
One Day One KU donations start at $5 and directly contribute to our mission of creating a healthy and empowering community for everyone on our campus. Your donation will support a variety of great causes across the KU Edwards campus, including:
- Supporting students in their educational journeys, advancing their careers, and boosting the local workforce and economy
- Providing microgrants and scholarships so an unexpected expense doesn’t take a student off their educational path
- Preparing graduates to launch their careers with résumé or grant writing seminars
- Strengthening the KUEC community by ensuring a faculty or staff member can accept a unique professional development opportunity
- Creating a healthier KUEC community through morale-building events and group wellness activities
The KU Edwards Campus delivers world-class education to the Kansas City metro area and beyond, helping adult learners start, change, or advance their careers through high-demand degree and certificate programs.
Our students are working hard to complete their degrees. Most have full- or part-time jobs. Many also juggle family responsibilities. We want to help remove barriers to their success. We also want to provide opportunities for faculty to continue their professional development and enhance their academic programs.
