Biography

Dr. Amulya Gurtu serves as the Director and Professor – Project Management Programs at the School of Professional Studies, the University of Kansas, Overland Park. He leads project management education in his current role. He has a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), Toronto, Canada, an M.B.A. from Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario, London, Canada and an M.Tech. from National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India. Dr. Gurtu is also a visiting faculty to the Indian Institute of Management, Nagpur and Trichy, India.

Dr. Gurtu serves as an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Systems Science: Operations & Logistics published by Taylor & Francis, Associate Editor of Operations and Supply Chain Management: An International Journal (ISSN: 1979-3561; EISSN: 2579-9363), published by Operations and Supply Chain Management Forum, Associate Editor of the International Journal of Sustainable Economies Management, by IGI Global, and served as the Editor-in-Chief (2017-2020) of the International Journal of Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Corporate Social Responsibility, published by IGI Global. His research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
