Biography

Christopher W. Bruce is a career crime analyst who worked for police agencies in Massachusetts for 17 years before spending 10 years as a self-employed consultant and trainer for various government agencies and nonprofit organizations, including the U.S. Department of Justice, the Texas Department of Transportation, and the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. He served on the board of the International Association of Crime Analysts for nearly 20 years, including six years as president, and he has achieved lifetime Certified Law Enforcement Analyst status through that association. He has taught crime analysis, criminology, and other criminal justice topics for various universities since 2001 and currently serves as a full-time assistant professor of criminal justice at Husson University in Bangor, Maine. He lives in Bucksport, Maine.
