Biography

David is a twenty-eight-year veteran of the Kansas City, MO Police department.  He has held assignments in Detention, Patrol, Tactical Operations, Special Investigations, Academy Instructor as well as a host of other assignments.  He is Currently the Division Commander of the South Patrol Division.

David has testified as a subject matter expert in police use of force.  He was selected to participate in the Major Cities Chiefs Incident Response subcommittee.  He was selected as a member of the Govenor's select group to respond to civil unrest in St. Louis in order to lead proper police response to civil unrest.  He has developed VIP protection plans for Presidential visits, Vice Presidential visits and participated in numerous VIP protection details.  He has written, or assisted in planning, for Superbowl Parades, St. Patrick's Day Parades and numerous marches, rallies and other large events.

He holds a bachelor's degree in administration of criminal justice where graduated Magna Cum Laude.  He holds a Master of Business Administration, graduating with distinction.  He has a Criminal Justice Certificate from the University of Virginia and Graduated from the FBI National Academy Class #285.
