Jennifer Katzer

Jen manages student services on the Edwards Campus and acts as a liaison to various offices and services located on the Lawrence Campus, meaning that if a student needs help—no matter what is going on—she is here to help solve the problem! Additionally, she supervises the Wingspan tutors who operate on the Edwards Campus and runs the Edwards Campus Test Center. She is also available to connect students to community resources in the KC Metro area. Students should reach out to her if they have run into problems in class, are interested in pursuing additional college opportunities, or are struggling with other responsibilities or finances.

She has worked in higher education since 2016, working previously as a TRIO advisor, an academic advisor, a financial aid specialist, and as a jack-of-all-trades at a satellite campus. Degrees held in B.A. in English, technical and professional writing from Pittsburg State University; M.A. in English from Pittsburg State University.

When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her partner and friends, caring for her dogs and cats, playing board games with friends and family, and binge-watching TV shows.
