Joel Short

Joel Short, MBA, serves as an adjunct instructor in the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program at the KU Edwards Campus. With over 13 years of experience in computer information systems and 8 years in higher education, he brings a wealth of practical and academic knowledge to his role. Currently, Joel holds the position of Director of Business Systems at Empowered, a non-profit organization within the Stand Together Community. 

Joel earned his bachelor's degree in computer information systems and a master's degree in business from Southwestern University, complemented by numerous IT certifications. Beyond his professional pursuits, Joel is deeply dedicated to his faith, family, sports, and the art of teaching.
