Julie Myer

Julie Myer serves as Senior Graduate Recruiter for the School of Professional Studies and KU Edwards Campus. After earning a BS in Secondary Education (English) and an MA in English, she worked in China for 11 years, finishing her time in China serving as Dean of the Business English unit at a college in Foshan, Guangdong. Since returning to the US, she worked in international higher education for more than 10 years and earned an MA in Curriculum and Instruction (emphasis in TESOL) and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a co-discipline of Higher Education Administration. Her research includes both TESOL and various aspects of the international student experience.
