Shawn Mulkey

Shawn Mulkey, MS, lecturer in the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program, has over 25 years of experience in software development, systems architecture and organizational leadership. He has been with the KU Edwards Campus for the past 4 years, teaching courses on computer architecture, project management and systems design. He has developed solutions for multiple industries including telecommunication, financial market services, transportation and retail. 

Mulkey holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Baker University and a master’s in computer science from KU. His thesis focus in graduate school was in standardized communication for real-time systems and incorporating their use in financial market systems interactions. Mulkey lives in the Johnson county area with his wife and has two children at KU.
