Sciflix - A Date Night with your Brain
Select Friday Nights at 6:30 p.m.
SciFlix is a community outreach effort designed around taking the science, the theories, and the ethics in popular fiction and discussing it openly and honestly. Each film will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Regnier Hall Auditorium. Following the film, our moderator will introduce a panel of experts who will provide their reactions to the film and their insights in a Q&A session with event attendees.
Our mission is to entertain the public with movies and refreshments and then fan the sparks of creative and critical thinking into life.
Refreshments provided. Save your seat by RSVPing now.

When a dozen extraterrestrial spacecraft appear around the planet, the question is not, 'how do we kill them,' but 'what are they even here for?' How can we even know? Who could possibly be able to communicate with completely alien creatures? It's time for the US Army to bring in the linguists. Join us as we ask our own linguists where we start and what we ask.
All participants are invited to join our discussion page to ask questions of our panelists.
